Community Connect BBQ: A Day of Nurturing and Connection

Our recent Community Connect BBQ was a resounding success, bringing together people from all walks of life to experience the magic of our sanctuary. The event showcased the power of community connections and the transformative effects of our nurturing environment.

Healing Activities

The day was filled with a variety of healing activities that allowed our guests to relax, rejuvenate, and connect with themselves and others.

Reiki Therapy: Fiona from YOUtopia WELLbeing offered gentle energy healing, helping participants release tension and find inner balance.

Guided Art Sessions: Creative expression flowed freely as guests explored their emotions through colour and form, guided by Tina Summers Art Studio.

Massage Treatments: Renae’s (Enlightened Kinesiology & Massage) soothing touch melted away stress and physical discomfort, leaving guests feeling refreshed and renewed.

A Delicious Sausage Sizzle

A highlight of the day was the Sausage Sizzle provided by the Rotary Club of Raymond Terrace. Their generous support filled bellies and promoted a sense of community spirit, encouraging connection and conversation among attendees.

Sharalyn and Janine’s Vision

Women’s Healing Sanctuary was founded by Sharalyn and Janine, whose vision is to create a safe, restful, and nurturing space for women experiencing grief, loss, or exhaustion. Through their own personal struggles, they recognised the profound need for a sanctuary where women could step away from their stressful circumstances to heal. Their mission is centred around nurturing hearts and restoring energy, providing retreat accommodation to women regardless of their financial situation. This commitment ensures that every woman has access to the restorative experiences offered at the sanctuary, allowing them to find solace and rejuvenation in a supportive environment.
