Calm Your Farm: A Gentle Reset Weekend

A gentle weekend to slow your pace, settle your energy, and explore simple ways to ‘calm your farm’.

Hosted by Women’s Healing Sanctuary in the Port Stephens Hinterland, the retreat takes place on six peaceful acres designed to support rest, reflection, and renewal.

What the Weekend Includes:

Qi Gong & Energy Awareness sessions: Rooted in the gentle practice of Qi Gong, these sessions offer women an opportunity to slow down, reconnect, and restore a sense of inner calm. Guided by Kylie Dawson from Soul Expression, the sessions combine soft flowing movement, mindful breath, and energy awareness practices designed to support emotional wellbeing and nervous system balance.

With a focus on presence, self-awareness, and reconnection, women are gently encouraged to tune inward, quiet the noise of everyday life, and reconnect with their own voice, intuition, and self-worth. These sessions create space for stillness, reflection, and renewal; nurturing both emotional resilience and a deeper connection to self.

Somatic Breath Work: Our bodies require three things in my understanding to come back to balance. Breath, fascia release and alignment. Over 90 minutes we will share a gentle fascia and lymphatic nourishment practice to help blood, heat, and oxygen flow to all our cells. This is something you can easily continue daily when you leave the retreat.

Led by nervous system and movement specialist Meg Sabovic, expect a gentle, subtle, twisting practice to rejuvenate and re-align the joints of the body, working from a feet first philosophy to help ground, balance and bring energy to the physical vehicle. This, combined with our diaphragmatic breath, awareness of our holding patterns, and releasing tension, helps rehydrate our fascia, bring elasticity back to the body, and fluidity to the joints. A beautiful gift to our bodies from the inside out. When we become aware of what is, we can land as we are, and subtly the body changes when we just notice.

Women’s Circle: A facilitated women’s circle with Janine offers a supportive space for gentle connection and reflection. Sharing is always optional, and the focus is on creating a safe, respectful environment where each woman can simply be present.

Time to Rest and Reset: The retreat intentionally includes unstructured time so you can move at your own pace. You may choose to relax by the pool, journal by the pond, walk the gardens, rest indoors, book a personal Reiki session or massage, or simply enjoy quiet moments with a cup of tea.

Meals and Accommodation: All meals are provided for the duration of the retreat, prepared to support rest and nourishment. 2 nights' accommodation is included, with private bedrooms and comfortable shared spaces designed to feel calm and welcoming.

Optional Reiki or Massage: You may choose to book into personalised treatments to deepen your rest and self-care.

6:30pm – Nourishing Dinner
Shared meal to ground and connect.

Evening – Relax, unwind, settle into the sanctuary
Quiet time to rest, journal, or simply be.

Saturday

Morning – Breakfast at leisure
Enjoy a slow start to your day.

10:30am – Qi Gong & Energy Awareness Session (1hr)
A gentle, guided session combining movement, breath and simple insights into how we can calm our system and reconnect with our energy.

Vocal Expression (optional)– humming, singing circle (1/2hr-45mins)

12:30pm – Lunch

2:00pm – Rest & Optional 1:1 Sessions
Time to relax, enjoy the sanctuary with some personal time, or book an optional Reiki session or relaxation massage.

3:30pm – Somatic breath Session (with Meg)

A restorative somatic breathwork session designed to help women slow down, reconnect with their bodies, and release stored tension and stress. Led by nervous system and movement specialist Meg Sabovic.

Evening – Dinner & restorative downtime
Unstructured time to relax, connect, take a bubble bath, or enjoy the peaceful surroundings. Toast marshmallows by the open fire (weather permitting).

Sunday

Morning – Breakfast at leisure

10:30am – Gentle Close & Reflection (optional) - Janine
A softly guided session to reflect on your weekend and consider what you’d like to take with you.

12:00pm – Check-out

Group Sizes

Places are intentionally limited to a maximum of 7 women to maintain a calm, supportive, and intimate environment for every woman attending.

Reiki

Accommodation & Meals

Our retreat accommodation offers privacy, security and a beautiful outlook over tranquil grounds with a maximum of seven guests at any time.

Meals, linen, towels, and other essentials are provided. You only need to bring YOU (and anything extra you may require for your own needs and comfort).

Dining options: meals can be enjoyed in the community with other guests and our manager.  However, if you prefer to be alone you are welcome to take your meal to your room or enjoy one of our outdoor settings on the terrace or the pool deck.

Each room has tea/coffee-making facilities and WIFI.  Private and shared bathroom facilities are available, and guests are welcome to relax in the bubble bath in the main bathroom.
